Welcome to Aeluna
Aeluna is a faith-based bedtime app created to help children and families share peaceful moments of prayer, reflection, gratitude, kindness, and connection before sleep.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") explain the rules for using Aeluna. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
 
1. Who We Are
Aeluna is a product of Studio Gevano Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada.
Throughout these Terms, "Aeluna," "we," "our," and "us" refer to Studio Gevano Inc.

2. Who Can Use Aeluna
Aeluna is designed for children and families.
Children should use the App with the involvement or supervision of a parent, guardian, or caregiver.
By using the App, you confirm that you are either:
• A parent, guardian, or caregiver who is responsible for supervising a child’s use of the App; or
• Otherwise legally permitted to agree to these Terms.
Aeluna is created from a faith-based perspective.  Every family is unique, and parents and caregivers are encouraged to determine whether the content is appropriate for their family's beliefs, traditions, and values.
 
3. Purpose of the App
Aeluna is intended to help families:
• Grow in faith and spiritual reflection;
• Build meaningful parent-child connections;
• Practice gratitude, kindness, compassion, and hope;
• Establish healthy bedtime rituals;
• Create a peaceful transition to sleep.
The App is provided for educational, inspirational, and spiritual purposes only.
Aeluna is not intended to provide:
• Medical advice;
• Mental health treatment;
• Psychological counseling;
• Crisis support;
• Professional religious guidance;
• Legal or financial advice.
Families should seek appropriate professional assistance whenever needed.
 
4. Voluntary Contributions
Aeluna is currently offered free of charge.
Users may choose to make voluntary financial contributions to support:
• Continued operation of Aeluna;
• Development of new content and features;
• Technical maintenance and improvements;
• Expanding Aeluna's reach to more families.
Contributions are entirely optional.
Making a contribution does not provide ownership rights, special privileges, priority access, or any guarantee regarding future features or content.
Unless required by applicable law, contributions are non-refundable.
While Aeluna is currently offered free of charge, we may introduce optional premium content, features, or subscription offerings in the future to help support the ongoing development and sustainability of the App.
Any such offerings would be optional, and users would be informed of applicable pricing and terms before making a purchase.
 
5. Feedback and Suggestions
We welcome feedback, ideas, suggestions, and recommendations that may help improve Aeluna.
If you choose to provide feedback to Studio Gevano Inc., you agree that:
• We may use, modify, implement, publish, or incorporate your feedback into Aeluna or other products and services;
• We are not obligated to use any feedback you provide;
• You will not receive compensation, royalties, ownership rights, or any other payment for your feedback;
• Any rights you may have in the feedback are assigned to Studio Gevano Inc. to the extent permitted by law.
We greatly appreciate community feedback and view it as a contribution to helping Aeluna serve more families.
 
6. Privacy and Local Device Storage
Protecting children's privacy is important to us.
Aeluna does not require user accounts and does not collect personal information from children or parents through normal use of the App.
To provide certain features, Aeluna stores limited information directly on your device, including:
• Journey night count;
• Garden of Prayer progress and level;
• Favorite prayers or content selections;
• Preferred language settings.
This information remains on your device and is not used to personally identify you.
Aeluna does not currently provide cloud backup or account-based synchronization.  If the App is deleted, reinstalled, transferred to a new device or the device is reset, this information may be permanently lost and cannot be restored.
Aeluna is an ad-free experience.
We do not display third-party advertisements within the App and we do not use children's activity within the App for advertising purposes.

7. Internet Connectivity
Certain features of the App require an internet connection.
Some content or functionality may be unavailable when your device is offline.
You are responsible for any mobile data charges or internet service fees associated with your use of the App.
 
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Aeluna only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
• Use the App in violation of any applicable law;
• Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the App;
• Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the App's source code;
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the App;
• Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
If these Terms are violated, we may suspend or terminate access to the App.
 
9. Intellectual Property
All content and materials available through Aeluna, including but not limited to prayers, reflections, text, artwork, graphics, animations, audio, software, logos, trademarks, and designs, are owned by Studio Gevano Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the App for personal family use.
No ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of the App.
Except as permitted by law, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.
 
10. Changes and Updates
We are continually improving Aeluna.
We may:
• Add, modify, or remove features;
• Update content;
• Improve performance or security;
• Release new versions of the App.
Some updates may be required for continued use of certain features.
We reserve the right to discontinue any feature or portion of the App at any time.
 
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The App may occasionally contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources.
These third parties operate independently from Aeluna.
We are not responsible for:
• Their content;
• Their availability;
• Their privacy practices;
• Their terms and conditions.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
 
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Aeluna is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
While we strive to provide a positive and reliable experience, we do not guarantee that:
• The App will always be available;
• The App will be free of errors;
• The App will be uninterrupted;
• All content will always be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Gevano Inc. disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied.
 
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Gevano Inc., Aeluna, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
This includes damages relating to:
• Loss of locally stored information;
• Device issues;
• Service interruptions;
• Loss of data;
• Emotional distress;
• Lost profits or business opportunities.
Because Aeluna is provided free of charge, our maximum liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed CAD $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
 
14. Termination
You may stop using Aeluna at any time by uninstalling the App.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if:
• These Terms are violated;
• Required by law;
• Necessary to protect users, our services, or our intellectual property;
• Technical or security concerns require it.
 
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
 
16. App Store Terms
If you download Aeluna through the Apple App Store or another application marketplace, you acknowledge that:
• These Terms are between you and Studio Gevano Inc., not the marketplace operator;
• The marketplace operator is not responsible for the App or its content;
• Your use of the App must comply with applicable marketplace terms.
 
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec, Canada, except where applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
